   is a Calcium corrector (deficiency stress due to Calcium deficiency), which complexes Calcium with amino acids obtained from Enzymatic Hydrolysis.It contains a balanced proportion of Ca and free amino acids, which favour a prompt Calcium absortion within the plant. It is a very immobile element inside the plant, specially under stress situations due to low transpiration. Thanks to the synergetic action of the amino acids contained in  , Calcium content in plants with an effective product, specially under stress conditions.   Calcium is indispensable to form the structure of cellular walls, this is why a correct calcium nutrition will provide a strong turf, with elasticity and resistence to effects such as stress due to intensive use (traffic of players, footsteps). Besides, turf will be less vulnerable to diseases. Calcium deficiencies happen both in very sandy soils (i.e. USGA greens, where Calcium is not retained and is easily leached) and in clayey soils of calcareous origins and alkaline pHs. Despite the fact that this type of soils have high Calcium contents, it is not present in an available pHs. Normal spray with tank sprayer (also usable in fertigation). Generally, it can be mixed with other products thanks to its slightly acid pH. Mixtures with products of high Phosphorus contents shoud be avoided.
 In moments of important Calcium needs, a dose of 10 litres/ha is recommended to correct deficiencies. For turf maintenance, as a precautionary measure, doses of 5 litres/ha may be used.
It is always advisable to follow an application program, treating every 15-30 days, depending on deficiency levels, soil types and specific needs of every variety. Its use is specially recommended when a high playing intensity is foreseen, as well as in early autumn and spring to reduce turf susceptibility to contracting fungi diseases. |
